Corrugated Fins are part of a core component from the Radiator system in Power and Distribution Transformer. These fins are made from Mild Steel coil and designed to be able to withstand expansion and contraction of the oil. It is also designed to provide a large surface area to dissipate the heat generated by Transformer.
Implementing a fully automated Corrugated Fins Wall Former System provides a best ease of producing Fins Wall straight from the Mild Steel coil. A full Former System integrates three standalone machines into one go, a ‘Fins Wall Former’ machine, a ‘3-Points Spot Welding’ machine, and a ‘Automated MIG Fins Wall Welding’ machine. Multiple options of Fins Wall type are able to be customized, e.g. numbers of Embossing, numbers of points for Spot Welding, Fins Wall height, etc.
The process starts by de-coil and straightening the Mild Steel coil, then the machine firmly holds the metal sheet and feeds it inward for the forming process. Based on the given amount of Fins, the metal sheet will then be cut to the correct number of Fins, then the formed Fins Wall are ready for Point Spot Welding at its embossing. After that, the WIP walls are sent to Automated MIG Welding Station to completely seal off its side walls. The goods are now ready to be collected.
The whole process is completely automated with high flexibility and customizable. Numbers of settings are available to be changed directly from HMI attached, while some settings require mechanical adjustment for the best outcome. Our machine also comes with faster forming speed and output than market products. Our existing customers have run our system for decades without complaints.
